Just to reiterate what we spoke about yesterday, I suggest avoiding slanting text and centering of titles. Also let your background compliment your images without overpowering them.
I'd also suggest a combination of two fonts...perhaps one thats a serif and another that is sans-serif.
I'll tell you what Suzanne told me....having a busy back ground can be tricky. Let it shine on a few slides, but take a backseat to drawings. So let the drawings bleed off the page so they are as large as possible on the screen.
